Taking care of one’s own health without government interference is a basic human right that has been under attack ever since evil men figured out how to appropriate nature, patent it and sell it at a premium under the designation of pharmaceuticals. The Health Freedom Defense Fund (HFDF), however, is fighting back.
Until every last “illegal” herb is removed from the federal prohibition list, and raw dairy products made freely available for all, HFDF’s grassroots work will continue. The group is also fighting against forced medicine whether that be mandatory vaccination, artificially fluoridated water, or obligatory mask-wearing.
“Health freedom is an essential part of what it means to be free – and what it means to be an American,” the group says.
“A foundational principle of the United States is the freedom to pursue life, liberty and happiness unencumbered by anyone or any entity as long as that pursuit does not harm anyone else. Health is an essential part of life, liberty, and happiness.”
To HFDF, health freedom means that every individual is in charge of his or her own body. In a truly free society, the government would have no authority to decide what a person is allowed to take or consume for health, no matter how “controversial.”
“It means the freedom to decide whether to use nutrition, supplements, rest, and stress management to stay healthy or prefer a conventional medical approach,” the group says.
“It means deciding for yourself whether you opt for the risks and benefits of pharmaceuticals or those of another kind of medicine to restore your health, in the event you become ill. It means you are in charge and medical practitioners are consultants, not enforcers, of their health approach.”
At the end of the day, governments that attempt to restrict what foods and herbs people use while forcing Big Pharma poisons on them as the only acceptable form of medical “treatment” are guilty of violating the Nuremberg Code of 1947.
This human rights declaration, along with the Declaration of Helsinki in 1964 and the Universal Declaration on Bioethics and Human Rights at the UNESCO Convention in 2005, require that all forms of ethical medicine adhere to a policy of voluntary informed consent.
“There is no more basic right than that to choose what is permitted into our bodies,” says HFDF. “Among all the lessons we learned from the Nazis, surely one of the most important is that it is inhumane to force medical treatments on other human beings.”
Many people are still unaware of the fact that Big Pharma controls the American Congress through lobbying. Between donations and lobbying, the pharmaceutical industry “gives” Congress about $280 million per year to pass pro-pharma, anti-herb legislation. The industry also spends a whopping $3.6 billion on direct-to-consumer advertising.
“Is it any wonder these groups push the pharmaceutical industry’s interests, namely restricting your medical rights, and obstruct the free flow of honest independent information to the public?” HFDF asks.
The first step to fixing this mess is to vote out all politicians who have ever accepted cash from Big Pharma, which is most of them. The next is to join up with a local health freedom organization, which HFDF is working on creating a database of so people can find a local chapter near them.
“We aid families and individuals whose health rights have been infringed and support legal challenges to unjust laws that undermine our health and freedoms,” HFDF explains. “If your rights have been infringed, we may be able to help.”
